Fireproof or flame-retardant fabrics are made with permanently flame-retardant yarns that comply with existing flame-retardant standards. The fireproof or flame-retardant properties are intrinsic to the yarns and are established at a molecular level (in bulk). As a result, the fabrics maintain these properties even after frequent washing.

Antibacterial fabrics are woven from yarns that are specifically designed to develop antibacterial qualities.

These are often substances derived from silver ions that are anchored to the core of the yarns. This technique provides a permanent antibacterial effect, regardless of how many times the fabric is washed. The growth of possible bacteria can be reduced by 99%.

Comfortable acoustics are indispensable. Problems with acoustics stem from levels of reverberation, which need to be neutralised where possible. This is best achieved by using soft, sound-absorbing materials. The more sound these materials absorb, the higher their sound absorption coefficient, represented with α.
